In a demonstration of community and national spirit, the Ethiopian police closed off major roads from the evening to facilitate the smooth running of the event, allowing attendees to participate safely.

Organized by The Ethiopian Islamic Affairs Supreme Council, the gathering attracted attendees of different cultures, including diplomats from various countries.

Haji Ibrahim Tufa, the head of the council, urged Muslims to extend their support to the less fortunate members of society.

"The essence of our faith lies in our ability to uplift and support those in need," said Haji Ibrahim Tufa, emphasizing the importance of compassion and generosity within the Muslim community.

The event was praised by the attendees, who lauded its role in fostering unity and solidarity among Muslims in Ethiopia.

Ahmed Sheikh, one of the attendees, expressed his satisfaction with the gathering, highlighting its significance in dispelling misconceptions about the Muslim community's cohesion.

"I'm delighted to have been part of this event, which serves as a powerful testament to the unity, strength, and love shared among Muslims here," said Ahmed Sheikh. "Events like these send a clear message to those who doubt the unity of Muslims in Ethiopia."
