129 judicial officers appointed as Small Claims Court adjudicators
The appointments aim to enhance the Small Claims Court system and ensure faster handling of minor disputes, improving access to justice for the public.
Chief Justice Martha Koome has named 129 judicial officers to serve as adjudicators for the Small Claims Court for a term of twelve months, starting September 1, 2025.
The appointments, granted under the authority of the Small Claims Court Act of 2016, empower these officers to oversee Small Claims cases at their current and any future court postings.

The appointed officers include Manuela Kinyanjui, Kinyatta Rhoda, Mercy Nkirote Kinyua, Everlister Kithinji Kathure, Dennis Nguli Kioko, Habrovinah Nyamweya, Jackinda Rena Aketch, Dorence Chelangat Soy, Jacklyne Tawai Khalimesi, Andrew Njuguna Gathu, Jacinta Mwangi Wangeci, Cornel Omondi Ochieng, Philomena Nafula Makokha, Grace Mutemi, Tracy Wachira Wanjiku, Maureen Olonyi Nyakoa, John Ogutu Ochieng, Christabel Chepchirchir Maiyo, Larry Kombe Matawi, Lucy Gitari Wanja, Esther Mutuku Mwikali, Victor Shivega, Emmaculate Deche Dzidza, Winnie Chepkirui Keter, Namunyak Nkurrunah, and Verah Momanyi Kemuma.
