Thousands take part in Iftar Fun Walk to aid 5,000 needy families during Ramadhan
The aim of the Iftar Fun Walk 2024 is to raise funds to provide Iftar food packs to 5,000 vulnerable families.
Thousands of Muslims on Sunday took part in the Zakat Kenya's Iftar Fun Walk aimed at raising funds to support vulnerable families during the Holy Month of Ramadhan.
The 10 km walk started from Adams Arcade Mosque to the Sir Ali Muslim Club, Nairobi.

The aim of the Iftar Fun Walk 2024 is to raise funds to provide Iftar food packs to 5,000 vulnerable families.

The walk is in partnership with Premier Bank and sponsored by Safe Air, Mobi Tyres & Autoservice and Wabco Tyres.
During Ramadhan last year, Zakat Kenya supported 2,200 families with food donated by well-wishers and corporations.
The Iftar distribution this year will take place between March 9-10, 2024.
