KeNHA closes section of Mwingi-Ukasi Road for almost four months

The Kenya National Highways Authority (KeNHA) has announced the closure of a section of the Mwingi-Ukasi (A3) Road at Kwa-Vii to allow for the construction of a box culvert.

According to a public notice issued by the authority, the affected section of the road will be fully closed for about three and a half months, from Monday, July 28, 2025, to Wednesday, November 12, 2025.

“Mwingi-Ukasi (A3) Road shall be fully closed at Km 39+400 (Kwa-vii). This is to allow for the construction of a Box culvert, and motorists are therefore advised to use the designated diversion as indicated in the diversion plan,” said Eng. Luka Kimeli, Acting Director General of KeNHA.
