Ruto: Judge me by my work in 2027, not today’s promises
He stressed the importance of hard work and his commitment to fulfilling his constitutional duties.
President William Ruto has urged Kenyans to judge him based on his work in 2027 rather than on today’s promises.
Speaking at Njiru Junction on Friday, he reminded the public that the elections in 2027 will be the true test of his achievements.

He stressed the importance of hard work and his commitment to fulfilling his constitutional duties.
Ruto addressed his critics with a clear message.
“We are in 2025 and the elections will be held in 2027. You will decide on who to elect based on the work that someone has done. Everyone should work hard. I will do my job. I will ensure these young people are employed and your children are educated. Let’s meet in 2027 with those who have issues... Everyone will be judged by their work,” Ruto said.
In addition to his call for accountability, Ruto discussed plans for creating jobs and fixing the economy.
He was accompanied by Deputy President Kithure Kindiki and other leaders during his tour. The president is currently on a five-day development tour of Nairobi City County, where he has commissioned new projects and inspected ongoing works.
This tour is part of his broader efforts to bring development to Kenya’s interior, following visits to counties in North Eastern, Coast, and Western Kenya, with his next stop set for the Mt Kenya region.
