Islamic scholar Mufti Menk meets Garissa children who hyped his Kenyan visit

He commenced a three-day visit to Kenya on Friday.
Zimbabwean Islamic scholar, Mufti Menk who is visiting Kenya met two orphans whom he says popularise his tour on social media.
The two, AbdiMajid Abdi Shalle (13) and Abdirahman Nur, from Garissa Young Muslim Children's Home created a poster on social media ahead of his visit.

Mufti Menk met the two children in Nairobi on Saturday and appreciated their efforts.
"These two youngsters played a crucial role ahead of my visit to Kenya. Their advert attracted over one million viewers," said the Muslim scholar.
Muslim scholar and motivational speaker, Sheikh Ismail Ibn Musa Menk, commonly known as Mufti Menk, commenced a three-day visit to Kenya on Friday.
On the first day of his visit, Mufti Ismail Menk led the Jummah Prayers at Jamia Mosque in Nairobi where he was joined by leaders including Defence Cabinet Secretary Aden Duale.
Hundreds of Muslims gathered to listen to his sermon themed "Echoes of Enlightenment," which was broadcasted live by the mosque's Horizon TV.
Mufti Menk was hosted for breakfast earlier by the Jamia Mosque Committee, along with Athman Abdulhalim Hussein, the Chief Kadhi of the Republic of Kenya, and other senior Muslim leaders. Later in the day, following Maghrib prayers, Mufti presented a lecture at Parklands Mosque and Madrassa Trust.
His today's itinerary included visits to Masjid Al-Huda and Masjid Rahma in Hurlingham for lectures before and after Maghrib prayers.
He will conclude his visit to Nairobi on Sunday by delivering a lecture at Adams Masjid along Ngong Road during Dhuhr prayers.
