KUCCPS sets up 30 support centres for KMTC intake ahead of July 7 deadline

KUCCPS, through a statement on Friday, July 4, published a list of 30 KMTC campuses across the country that students can visit for application support and guidance.
Applicants eyeing admission to Kenya Medical Training College (KMTC) for the September 2025 intake have been urged to seek help at designated campuses ahead of the fast-approaching application deadline on Monday, July 7.
The Kenya Universities and Colleges Central Placement Service (KUCCPS), through a statement on Friday, July 4, published a list of 30 KMTC campuses across the country that students can visit for application support and guidance.

KUCCPS officials have been stationed at the selected campuses to offer direct assistance to those facing difficulties with the ongoing application process.
“Applying for the KMTC September 2025 Intake? Remember, the application deadline is 7/7/2025. Don’t be stuck. Visit the following KMTC campuses or any other KMTC campus near you for application support and guidance,” they noted.
Among the listed campuses are Burnt Forest, Gatundu, Homa Bay-Mbita Satellite, Imenti, Isiolo, Iten, Kakamega-Ikolomani, Kapkatet, Karen-Nairobi, and Kerio Valley.
Others include Kilifi, Kitui-Mutomo, Kuria, Lamu, Loitokitok, Lugari, Machakos-Mbuvo, Manza, Mbooni, Meru, Migori, Nakuru, and Nyamache.
Additional campuses offering support include Nyamira, Rera, Siaya, Ugenya, Vihiga, and Yatta.
According to KUCCPS, the September intake is open to several categories of applicants. These include individuals who applied between January and June 2025 but were not placed, those who sat for the KCSE in 2024 and have not applied, and anyone who sat for KCSE between the years 2000 and 2024 but has never been admitted to KMTC.
The KUCCPS online portal for the KMTC September 2025 intake officially opened on Tuesday, June 24, and will remain accessible until Sunday, July 7.
In a statement, KUCCPS reminded applicants to take advantage of these two weeks to submit their course choices.
Applicants can apply through the KUCCPS portal or visit any Huduma Centre across the country to complete the process.
There are 36 programmes available in the current intake, including both diploma and certificate courses. Some of the notable diploma options include Clinical Medicine and Surgery, Pharmacy, Public Health, Orthopaedic and Trauma Medicine, Occupational Therapy, Health Counselling, Health Promotion, Kenya Registered Nursing, Mortuary Science, and Optometry.
Available certificate courses include Kenya Enrolled Community Health Nursing, Medical Emergency Technician, Health Insurance Management, and Nutrition and Dietetics.
