Ruto appoints former CS Adan Mohamed as Chief Of Strategy Execution
Under the previous Executive Order No. 1 of 2023, President Ruto had named Adan as a member of the Council of Economic Advisors under the Chief Economic Advisor David Ndii.
President William Ruto has appointed former cabinet secretary Adan Mohamed as the Chief of Strategy Execution.
The appointment was confirmed through the President's Executive Order No. 2 of 2023 released on Thursday.

Adan's new position under the President's Strategy and Execution Office is placed under the Office of the President.
Under the previous Executive Order No. 1 of 2023, President Ruto had named Adan as a member of the Council of Economic Advisors under the Chief Economic Advisor David Ndii.
Adan had also previously served as the Cabinet Secretary of both the Industrialisation and East African Community ministries under former President Uhuru Kenyatta's administration.
The former CS has been an ever-present and prominent figure in Ruto's high-profile meetings with various dignitaries at State House, most notably during the United States Trade Representative Katherine Kai's visit to the country in July.
Adan also accompanied Ruto during the US Kenya Business Roadshow across the cities of New York, Chicago and San Francisco in September organised by the US Government's Prosper Africa initiative and the US Embassy in Nairobi.
The roadshow showcased opportunities for American companies to explore doing business and investing in Kenya.
