Kenya leads the MSSM mission in Haiti, whose mandate ends soon.

Officers in the mission have recorded successes but face challenges, including inadequate force, equipment and funding to tackle Haiti's gangs.
A plan to transform the mission into a Gang Suppression Force is under consideration ahead of its mandate expiry on October 2.
