President William Ruto has appointed new chairpersons to various state corporations in a move aimed at boosting government efficiency and service delivery.
The appointments were announced in a statement on Thursday by Chief of Staff and Head of Public Service, Felix Koskei.

Former Laikipia Governor Ndiritu Muriithi has been appointed as Chairperson of the Board of Directors at the Kenya Revenue Authority.
Anthony Mwaura has been named Chairperson of the Board of Directors for the Kenya Rural Roads Authority, while Kembi Gitura will serve as Chairperson of the Board of Directors at Kenyatta University Teaching, Referral & Research Hospital.
According to the circular, the appointments were made in accordance with Article 132 of the Constitution, Section 6(1) of the State Corporations Act, and relevant statutory provisions governing the corporations.
Koskei stated that the President’s decision aligns with his commitment to advancing the Bottom-Up Economic Transformation Agenda (BETA). The appointments are part of a broader strategy to realign ministries, state departments, and state corporations to address emerging challenges and drive national development.
