Mohamed stressed the need for personal responsibility in safeguarding their homeland for the prosperity of future generations.
"Let us not leave all the work to security agencies. It is also our responsibility to strive for unity for all," he added.

Mama Alphone Dhahir, Chair of Maendeleo ya Wanawake, urged local administrators to be vigilant and consider residents' input in maintaining law and order.

Deputy County Commissioner Patrick Meso, present at the event, stressed the importance of community leaders' involvement and urged them to actively participate in preserving harmony.
He urged residents to collaborate with authorities in advancing government agendas within the county.
"I urge all residents to cooperate with area chiefs and assistant chiefs so that the government can fulfil its commitments," added the DCC.
Meso encouraged community members to provide anonymous tips about suspected wrongdoers, emphasising that achieving this objective necessitates sharing culprits' identities with local authorities who will ensure confidentiality.
The partnership between residents and the government underscores their joint dedication to upholding peace and security in Mandera County.
