ODM picks Junet as Minority Leader, Millie Odhiambo as Minority Whip
ODM Secretary General Edwin Sifuna said all ODM leaders nominated to the cabinet have resigned from their party positions.
The Orange Democratic Movement Party has picked Suna East MP Junet Mohammed to replace Opiyo Wandayi as the Minority Leader of the National Assembly.
Wandayi who was replaced and was also the Ugunja MP was nominated to the cabinet as cabinet secretary for Energy.

In changes announced by ODM Secretary General Edwin Sifuna on Wednesday, Suba North MP Millie Odhiambo was made the party's Minority Whip while Saboti lawmaker Caleb Amisi took the role of Chairperson of Public Accounts Committee that was held by nominated MP John Mbadi.
Funyula MP Wilberforce Oundo has been made the Vice Chairperson of the Public Accounts Committee in the National Assembly.
Sifuna, who was flanked by Junet and other leaders during the address, confirmed that officials of the party who have been nominated by President William Ruto to be cabinet secretaries have all tendered resignation from their party positions.
"That the party has officially released its officials who were recently tapped by President William Ruto for national duties as cabinet secretaries. I confirm that I have received the resignation of Opiyo Wandayi as Secretary for Political Affairs," said Sifuna.
According to him, he also received the resignations of John Mbadi as National Chairperson, and Wicliffe Oparanya and Hassan Joho as deputy party leaders.
The resignation of Beatrice Askul Moe was also received. She was a member of the Party Elections Committee.
