Two injured as Super Metro bus collides with lorry on Juja Road

A Super Metro bus was involved in a collision with a speeding lorry along Juja Road on Tuesday morning, the transport company has confirmed. The incident resulted in two minor injuries but no fatalities.
In a statement, Super Metro reported the lorry had been "swerving at high speed" before the impact. The matter has been reported to the Juja Police Station for investigation.

"We're relieved to confirm no lives were lost, though two passengers sustained minor injuries," the company stated.
"We're fully cooperating with authorities to establish the cause and ensure appropriate measures are taken," it added.

The incident occurred hours after another collision involving a Metrotrans Sacco matatu near AAR Hospital on Kiambu Road claimed two lives and left several injured.
Eyewitnesses reported the vehicle lost control before veering off the road. AAR medical teams provided emergency response at the scene, where onlookers had gathered around the wreckage.
