The iconic tournament, first held in 1996, returns to Nyayo for the first time since 2021.
The refurbished stadium, currently hosting the 2024 CHAN tournament, will welcome international men’s, women’s, and age-grade teams competing for the Robin Cahill Trophy.
Last year, the Safari 7s broke tradition by moving outside Nairobi for the first time, with Machakos County hosting the event. Kenya’s Shujaa and Spain’s Costa Blanca Ladies claimed the men’s and women’s titles respectively.
Nyayo now reclaims its status as the tournament’s home ground, staging the event for the fourth time after the 2011, 2012, and 2021 editions.
Defending champions Shujaa will be eyeing a record-extending run, having sealed a third consecutive crown in Machakos with a 12–0 victory over Shogun Rugby, adding to earlier wins in 2021 and 2023.
