Somali Football Federation holds crucial executive committee meeting on football development

he Somali Football Federation convened its Executive Committee at the Somali Football Communication Center for an extensive three-month meeting focused on advancing football in the country. Key discussions included the scheduling of championships for the 2024/2025 season and preparations for the Under-17 national team ahead of the African Cup of Nations qualifiers.
The Somali Football Federation (SFF) recently held a key meeting of its Executive Committee at the Somali Football Communication Center, focusing on various strategies for the development of football in the country.
During the session, which spanned over three months, the President of Football Relations, Mr. Ali Abdi Maxamed, delivered a brief opening address before members engaged in discussions on several crucial points.

One of the main topics was the scheduling of various championships for the 2024/2025 season, aiming to elevate the competitive standards across all levels of Somali football.
Additionally, the committee discussed the preparation of the Under-17 national team, which will participate in the upcoming African Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifiers in the East and Central Africa region later this year.
The meeting also addressed other important matters pertaining to the growth of football within the country as per a communique released by the federation.
