FKF Cup round of 64 awaits clash of giants and underdogs
The Round of 64 will be played between February 22-23, followed by the Round of 32 between March 8-9, while the Round of 16 will be played between April 12-13. The quarterfinals and semifinals are set for 1-4 May and 24-25 May, respectively, with the grand finale scheduled for June.
The third edition of the Football Kenya Federation (FKF) Cup kicks off this weekend, with 64 teams from across the country battling for the title after the draw was held on Monday.
Among the standout fixtures, Denmak FC hosts Uzalendo FC to open the tournament, while Nairobi United travels to face Global United. In the third match, Karatina Homeboyz hosts Dohnolm Seniors FC, promising a fierce showdown. Meanwhile, Tusker FC faces an away challenge against Gucha Youth FC, and Spitfire FC hosts Kariobangi Sharks.

Speaking during the draws, FKF President Hussein Mohammed reiterated the federation's commitment to strengthening football governance, enhancing competitions, and restoring integrity in the sport.

The Football Kenya Federation (FKF) is undergoing a transformation, and we are grateful that partners like Mozzart Bet recognise this and are eager to extend their collaboration. Their trust in this competition is a testament to the work we are doing to elevate the standards of Kenyan football,” Hussein said.
Hussein went on to add, “From day one, we set out to build a transparent, well-structured, and accountable federation—one that clubs, players, and fans can trust. Integrity is our foundation, and every decision we make is guided by the principle that football must be managed fairly and professionally.”
Manager of Mozartbet Kenya Sasa Krneta, lauded the high-quality football, with teams from all levels showcasing incredible talent.
“Beyond the titles, it has been incredibly fulfilling to witness high-quality football from the grassroots level all the way to the final showdown. The competitive nature of the tournament, where so-called underdogs have humbled giants, has made the competition even more exciting and unpredictable,” said Krneta.
