Phillips expressed his preference for Kenya during a quick-fire Q&A video after joining West Ham United. The video went viral, catching the attention of Kenyans and Magical Kenya, the top tourism company.
Magical Kenya posted on their social media page, saying, "Hey Kalvin Phillips, come kick it in Kenya again sometime soon, and bring the whole West Ham team with you!" Kenyans urged Magical Kenya to offer a trip to Phillips to visit and explore Kenya.
