Somali Premier League clubs Dekedaha and Horseed have discovered their opponents for the 2024-25 CAF Interclub competitons following the draw held on Thursday in Cairo, Egypt.
Dekedaha, who qualified for the 2024-25 CAF Champions League as the 2023-24 Somali First Division champions, have been drawn Arta Solar7 of Djibouti in the First Preliminary Qualifying Round of the competition.
The winner will play Tunisian heavyweights Esperance de Tunis, who are four time winners of the competition, in the Second Preliminary Round, which is the final qualifying round as well as since the winner of that tie advances to the Group Stages.
In the CAF Confederation Cup, where Horseed will be flying Somalia's flag, Horseed have been drawn against Burundi's Rukinzo FC in the First Preliminary Qualifying Round.
The winner will meet Tunisian club CS Sfaxien in the Second Preliminary Round.
Matches for the First Preliminary Qualifying Round will be played on August 16-18 (first leg) and August 23-25 (second leg).
Second Preliminary Qualifying Round matches will be played on September 13-15 (First leg) and September 20-22 (Second leg).
The Group Stages are scheduled to start in October.
