According to detectives, the country has toughened its narcotics laws to intensify the fight against drug trafficking.
The police said the heroin weighed 169.18 grammes with an estimated market price of Sh507,540.
The lists, shared by the Ministry of Interior, show that the country has 5,245 chemists, 15 vet drugs manufacturers and 96 vet drugs (wholesale) distributors.
Said Ali has been on police radar for being among the most active drug distributors who operate a network of peddlers within Kwale County.
The drugs were reportedly retrieved in the suspect's house by Moi International Airport Anti-narcotics officers.
