Video: Murkomen says government won’t cooperate with probes into police killings
A video has surfaced showing Interior Cabinet Secretary Kipchumba Murkomen declaring that the government will not cooperate with any investigations into killings committed by police officers. Murkomen: If a police officer is taken to court for using their gun to protect themselves or government premises, we will not cooperate with anyone attempting to punish them for doing their job or protecting their lives. Our stance is clear: we will provide legal representation to any officer facing trouble.
