The Commission on Revenue Allocation has structured itself into committees to effectively fulfil its mandate and ensure service delivery to the people of Kenya.
The Revenue Allocation Committee combines two committees of the previous commission, the Division of Revenue Committee and the Transitional Equalization Committee (Marginalisation).
“I would like to thank the Chairperson and my fellow commissioners for bestowing their trust in me to lead the Committee on Revenue Allocation,” the former MP said.
Fatuma challenged herself to take up the role and serve the people of Kenya, especially the marginalised communities.
“I also take this opportunity to congratulate my fellow commissioners and those who have also been selected to the other committee,” she added.
Gedi was among seven nominees whom the National Assembly approved their appointment to join the Commission on Revenue Allocation (CRA) last year.
Gedi was nominated by the Azimio La Umoja One Kenya Coalition to join the agency that is tasked with recommending the basis for equitable sharing of revenues raised nationally between the national and the county governments.
