Bandari 2-1 Ulinzi Stars
At Mbaraki Sports Club, Beja Nyamawi inspired Bandari FC to a 2-1 victory over Ulinzi Stars, ending their winless run in style. Nyamawi struck in the 20th minute with a powerful shot before calmly converting a penalty 17 minutes later to give the hosts a commanding 2-0 lead at halftime. Ulinzi responded immediately after the break, with Boniface Muchiri pulling one back in the 46th minute. However, despite their persistent pressure, they couldn’t find an equaliser, allowing Bandari to claim all three points.
Tusker FC 1-0 Bidco United
Meanwhile, Tusker FC strengthened their title push with a narrow 1-0 win over Bidco United. The Brewers dominated possession but struggled to breach a stubborn Bidco defence. The breakthrough finally came in the 72nd minute when substitute Deogratius Ojok made an immediate impact, nodding in a well-placed header at the back post. The result propelled Tusker to the top of the table with 47 points, two clear of Police FC.
With these results, Tusker now leads the title race, while Bandari gain breathing space in mid-table. City Stars remain in the relegation battle, and teams like Ulinzi, Bidco, and Sharks must step up to avoid slipping further down the standings as the season unfolds.
