Skyward Express introduces additional low-cost Nairobi-Mombasa flight

By |

Skyward Express is committed to affordability, offering fares starting as low as Sh7,600, making air travel accessible to all.

Following the increasing demand for travel between Nairobi and Mombasa, Skyward Express is enhancing its flight services, offering passengers greater flexibility and convenience.

Starting March 28, the airline will introduce two daily flights, providing travelers with morning and evening departure options to better suit their schedules.

The morning flight, departing from Jomo Kenyatta International Airport at 7 am, ensures an early arrival in Mombasa at 8 am, enabling passengers to maximize their time upon arrival. Conversely, departures from Mombasa to Nairobi will be at 8.45 am, arriving in Nairobi at 9.45 am.

For those preferring evening travel, the flight departing Mombasa at 7.45 pm offers a comfortable journey back to Nairobi, arriving at 8.45 pm.

This increase in flight frequency not only accommodates tourists eager to explore the coastal city but also serves business travelers seeking efficient transportation options.

With more flights available, the ease of access between Nairobi and Mombasa is expected to stimulate local tourism and boost economic activity in both cities.

Moreover, Skyward Express is committed to affordability, offering fares starting as low as Sh7,600, making air travel accessible to all.

"Our customers will pay as low as Sh7,600, which is the cheapest rate on that route," reads a statement from Skyward Express.

Meanwhile, the aviation sector sees further expansion with Jambojet's introduction of a new flight path from Mombasa to Zanzibar, commencing July 1, 2024. This move marks Jambojet's eighth destination within the regional network.

Operational on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays, the airline offers one-way fares at Sh17,806, inclusive of taxes, with discounts available.

In a strategic decision, Jambojet will operate from Moi International Airport in Mombasa, enhancing connectivity and addressing market demands effectively. This move solidifies Mombasa as a secondary hub, facilitating better connections to other regions.

Customers are encouraged to utilize the multi-city booking feature on the Jambojet website for seamless travel experiences to Zanzibar.
