Burhan's Technical Director, Abdi Ali, expressed his delight with the team’s strong start.
“This was our first game of the season, and winning right off the bat is a huge morale booster. We aim to maintain this level of performance throughout the season and secure promotion to Division One,” Ali told Eastleigh Voice.
However, Burhan head coach Seky Otieno urged the Nairobi County Government to improve the Camp Toyoyo pitch.
“The surface is in terrible condition, and it puts players at serious risk of injury. It also restricts their ability to play freely. The authorities need to replace the turf—it’s long overdue,” he stated.
Burhan FC will next face Gatongora FC away on Sunday, October 13th.
