KUCCPS opens portal for KMTC September intake

The placement agency encouraged all interested applicants to take advantage of the window to submit their applications online or through any Huduma Centre across the country.
The Kenya Universities and Colleges Central Placement Service (KUCCPS) has opened its online application portal for students seeking placement in the September 2025 intake at the Kenya Medical Training College (KMTC), offering a fresh chance for those aiming to join health-related courses.
In a notice released on Tuesday, KUCCPS announced that the portal would remain open for two weeks, from June 23 to July 7.

The placement agency encouraged all interested applicants to take advantage of the window to submit their applications online or through any Huduma Centre across the country.
“The KUCCPS online system is open for the KMTC September 2025 intake application,” read the notice from the placement body.
Applicants can access the system via the KUCCPS student portal: students.kuccps.net.
They are required to log in using their Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) index number, the year they sat their KCSE exams, and a password.
Students have been instructed to use either their Kenya Certificate of Primary Education (KCPE) index number or birth certificate number as their password.
A total of 36 programmes are available in this cycle, including both diploma and certificate courses.
Some of the diploma programmes open for application include Clinical Medicine and Surgery, Pharmacy, Public Health, Orthopaedic and Trauma Medicine, Occupational Therapy, Health Counselling, Health Promotion, Kenya Registered Nursing, Mortuary Science, and Optometry.
Certificate courses on offer include Kenya Enrolled Community Health Nursing, Medical Emergency Technician, Health Insurance Management, and Nutrition and Dietetics.
This application window follows a previous announcement by KUCCPS last month, which opened a second revision window for 2024 KCSE candidates who either failed to apply during the first round or were not placed in any programme.
