Students who applied to join the Kenya Medical Training College (KMTC) for the September 2025 intake can now confirm their placement status, following the release of results by the Kenya Universities and Colleges Central Placement Service (KUCCPS).
On Friday, KUCCPS asked all applicants to log into the KUCCPS student portal to find out which programme and campus they have been placed in.

“Placement results for the KMTC September 2025 intake are out. Applicants should log in to the KUCCPS student portal to check,” KUCCPS announced.
To check their status, students must visit students.kuccps.net, enter their KCSE index number, the year they sat for their exams, and a password. KUCCPS advised that passwords should either be the student’s KCPE index number or birth certificate number.
The placement service also opened the inter-institutional transfer window for students who may want to switch to a different KMTC campus or programme. The deadline for submitting transfer requests is August 24, 2025.
KUCCPS urged those successfully placed to follow all admission instructions provided through the portal to ensure a smooth enrollment process.
The application portal for the September intake was opened on June 23 and remained accessible until July 7. During this period, students could apply for pre-service diploma and certificate courses offered at KMTC campuses across the country.
Applicants interested in higher diploma courses, short courses, and upgrading programmes were advised to apply through the KMTC portal at admissions.kmtc.ac.ke.
Ahead of the application window, the Higher Education Loans Board (HELB), in partnership with KMTC, had also opened a special financing opportunity for KMTC students. The initiative was aimed at helping both new and continuing students meet tuition and related costs.
In its announcement, HELB said the application process is open to all eligible students and urged them to follow the instructions provided carefully.
“All students applying must follow the outlined steps carefully to ensure a successful application,” KMTC stated.
KUCCPS earlier announced that 26 programmes were available for the September 2025 intake, covering both diploma and certificate levels.
