Despite completing the signing, Iguma is not yet available for selection as his transfer is still undergoing final ratification. However, he has already joined training, with CEO Sam Nzau expressing confidence in his impact.
“Since his arrival, he has shown great positivity, and we are certain he will strengthen our squad as we pursue our goals this season. His experience and leadership, especially in the second half of the campaign, will be invaluable,” Nzau said.
Tusker FC’s move comes as the mid-season transfer window for the FKF Premier League, FKF National Super League, and FKF Men’s Division One League officially opened on Friday, January 31, 2025. According to the FKF Competitions Department, clubs have until Friday, February 28, 2025, at 1700 hrs to reinforce their squads for the second leg of the season.
To ensure a smooth transition, only players whose transfers are completed by Wednesday of each week will be eligible to play in weekend fixtures. Transfers submitted after the deadline will be processed for the following week.
Tusker currently sit joint-second in the FKF Premier League with 36 points, level with Kenya Police, who lead on goal difference. Iguma’s addition could be the boost they need as they push for the title in the second half of the season.
