Before the national elections, county-level elections will take place on November 9.
The Board said it will publish the final list of eligible clubs and delegates by October 10, with county-level and National Executive Committee (NEC) presidential nomination forms being submitted on October 11 and 14, respectively.
The final list of county and national candidates will be announced on November 2.
Following this, county polls will proceed on November 9. The names of the 94 national delegates, eligible to vote in the national elections, will be made public on November 23, two weeks ahead of the presidential vote on December 7.
According to the electoral regulations, delegates representing an FKF member must either be elected or appointed by the member they are representing.
The Board also outlined the qualifications required for candidates eyeing various FKF positions. Candidates vying for the presidency must secure at least five endorsements from FKF members and must have been involved in football, either as a player, member or official, for two of the last five years.
Additionally, they must meet the integrity requirements stipulated in Chapter Six of the Kenyan Constitution.
Article 2(a) of the electoral code reads, "Candidates for the office of President and Vice-President shall have been in active football (registered as a NEC member, committee member, referee, assistant referee, coach, trainer or any other person responsible for technical, medical, or administrative matters in FKF, League or Club, or as a player for two of the last five years before being proposed as a candidate)."
Several prominent figures have expressed interest in succeeding current FKF president Nick Mwendwa.
These include Hussein Mohammed, CEO of Extreme Sports, former footballer Sammy ‘Kempes’ Owino, Gor Mahia Secretary General Sam Ocholla and former FKF president Sam Nyamweya.
