The release of the examination result will pave the way to the Form One placement exercise scheduled to take place before the Christmas period.
“This will allow parents to prepare the children to join Form One at least in the third week of January,” Machogu said.
Machogu said this will give parents ample time to prepare for the admission exercise set for January 2024.
Schools are set to open for the new school calendar on 8 January 2024.
The CS spoke in Nairobi during the third Forum for African Women Educationalists triennial International conference on girl education in Africa.
This is the last KCPE examination under the outgoing 8-4-4 education system.
