President William Ruto has warned against violence and destruction of property ahead of tomorrow's planned protests titled #NaneNane in Nairobi.

"We don't want chaos in the country. We don't want protests that cause deaths and destruction of property. We want peace," President Ruto said while addressing a gathering in Embu during his working tour of the Mt Kenya region.

Acting Inspector General of Police Gilbert Masengeli is scheduled to give a briefing on police preparedness for the protests this afternoon.
