The order prevents actions against Wa Iria by the EACC, ODPP and DCI in a Sh140 million graft investigation.
The High Court in Murang'a has restrained the EACC and the Office of Director of Public Prosecutions (ODPP) from arresting former Muranga Governor Mwangi wa Iria, his wife Jane Kimani and brother-in-law Solomon Mutura.

He did not honour the summons and filed a petition to stop his impending arrest and prosecution.
The petition will be mentioned before Justice James Wakiaga on April 23 for further directions and a possible hearing.
The ODPP had on April 13 directed that Wa Iria, Kimani and Mutura be arrested and charged in relation to the acquisition of public resources.
The Milimani Anti-Corruption Magistrate's Court is expected to give directions on the fate of Kimani and Mutura, who were arrested and taken to court, determining whether to release them on bond or bail or if the terms will be determined by the EACC.
