InfoTrak poll ranks CS Kindiki best performing cabinet secretary

The Interior boss performed best on service delivery, competency and communication.
Interior Cabinet Secretary Kithure Kindiki has been rated the best-performing CS in the latest InfoTrak survey.
To emerge the best, the former Tharaka Nithi Senator scored a grade B of 60 per cent which ranked him as the top CS in addressing issues affecting Kenyans.
The report released on Monday also stated that the Interior boss performed best on service delivery, competency and communication.

On communicating to Kenyans what his ministry is doing, Kindiki also topped with a 61 per cent score, while he scored 60 per cent on competency.
On the issue of success in improving how things are done in their ministries, the Interior CS scored a B of 61 per cent.
His counterpart, Ababu Namwamba from the Youth and Sports docket, scored a C of 52 per cent.
Ababu got a C of 52 per cent on communicating to Kenyans what they are doing, while on competency, he also scored a C of 52 per cent.
On the issue of success in improving how things are done in their ministries, CS Ababu scored a C of 52 per cent.
Defence Cabinet Secretary Aden Duale came in third with 50 per cent.
He was followed closely by Eliud Owalo ( ICT ) and Soipan Tuya (Environment), who tied with 49 per cent.
CS Duale, on communicating to Kenyans what they are doing, scored a C of 51 per cent, while he got 52 per cent on competency and 50 per cent on the issue of success in improving how things are done in their ministries.
The survey assessed the performance of various Cabinet Secretaries since their assumption of office in October 2022.
InfoTrak's margin error was + or - 2.5, with the degree of confidence being 95 per cent.
The survey achieved a sample size of 1,700 respondents to represent the universe of adult Kenyans who were 18 years of age and above at the time of the survey.
It was conducted from May 23–29 across all 47 counties and 8 regions of Kenya through computer-assisted telephone interviews.
