The Energy and Petroleum Regulatory Authority (EPRA) has announced that Super Petrol and Diesel prices will remain unchanged in the September review.
Consequently, Super Petrol will continue to be priced at Sh188.84 per litre, and Diesel at Sh171.60 per litre starting on September 15, 2024, to October 14, 2024.

Kerosene, however, will see a reduction to Sh158.32 per litre, reflecting a decrease of Sh3.43.
EPRA noted that these prices include a 16 per cent Value Added Tax (VAT), in accordance with the Finance Act 2023 and the Tax Laws (Amendment) Act 2020.
In a statement, EPRA noted a decrease in the landed cost of imported Super Petrol, which fell by 1.53 per cent, from Sh91,300 (US$708.47) per cubic meter in July 2024 to Sh89,938 (US$697.62) per cubic meter in August.
Similarly, the landed cost of Diesel dropped by 2.95 per cent, from Sh89,528 (US$693.82) per cubic meter to Sh86,900 (US$673.36) per cubic meter.
"Currently, Kenya imports all its petroleum product requirements in refined form and the products are traded in international markets based on a pricing benchmark," EPRA said.
"Further, the trade of petroleum products in the international markets is denominated in United States Dollars and an exchange rate is applied to convert the US Dollar to Sh during the computation of local pump prices,”
Mombasa residents will purchase super petrol at Sh185.66, diesel at Sh168.43 and kerosene at Sh155.07.
In Nakuru, super petrol will go for Sh187.9, diesel at Sh171.04 while kerosene will retail at Sh157.91.
Super petrol will retail at Sh188.67, diesel at Sh171.81 and kerosene at Sh158.73 in Eldoret.
Kisumu residents will purchase super petrol at Sh188.66, diesel will retail at Sh171.81 and kerosene at Sh158.72.
In Isiolo super petrol will go for Sh192.01, diesel at Sh174.77 while kerosene will retail at Sh161.48.
Super petrol will retail at Sh193.31, diesel at Sh176.08 and kerosene at Sh162.79 in Garissa.
Marsabit residents will purchase super petrol at Sh197.27, diesel will retail at Sh180.03 and kerosene at Sh166.75.
