“I have gathered enough intelligence report that some of our staff were operating from Eastleigh, yet members of the public were waiting for them to offer service here in Mandera," the governor said.
The governor emphasised the need to ensure staff were diligently serving and fully present within their workstations.

He said disciplinary action once taken will not be reversed further urging them to remain steadfast towards quality service delivery.
The governor however warned the local community against politicising any action taken against any staff who absconded from duties.
“Let the action to tame them against absconding duties, take a clan dimension, we need to improve in service delivery by handling the lazy and absentee workers," said Mohamed.
During the meeting, he engaged the officials in an in-depth discussion on achievements and challenges of the past year to improve service delivery.
He urged senior officials to take account of service delivery and performance appraisals in their workplace.
