UDA announces new leadership changes at Nairobi County Assembly

In the new changes announced, Waithaka MCA Antony Kiragu has been removed as the Minority Leader and replaced by South B MCA Waithera Chege.
The United Democratic Alliance (UDA) party has effected new leadership changes at the Nairobi County Assembly.
In the new changes announced on Monday by UDA Secretary General Cleophas Malala, Waithaka MCA Antony Kiragu has been removed as the Minority Leader and replaced by South B MCA Waithera Chege.

Chege will now be deputised by Githurai MCA Deonysias Mwangi.
Also axed in the new changes is Umoja One MCA Mark Mugambi whose Minority whip position has been taken up by Nominated MCA Joyce Muthoni.
Muthoni will be deputised by Clay MCA Samora Mwaura.
The leadership changes come after a meeting held last week by UDA MCAs where the discussion on leadership changes was discussed.
"The changes are a result of a resolution passed during a meeting of the Minority members of the Nairobi County Assembly held on October 17, 2023, at City Hall," Malala said.
