The Prime CS vowed to promote and project the image of Kenya globally.
“I promise to prioritise attending to issues of Kenyans abroad who are in distress and to digitize communication channels for improved delivery,” said Mudavadi.
The new Tourism CS said he took pride during his helm at the helm of the Ministry of Foreign and Diaspora Affairs.
"In the eleven months that I have served as the Foreign Affairs CS, I have had the honour and privilege to advance Kenya’s national interests in the international arena by enhancing strategic bilateral and multilateral partnerships, including reigniting friendships with the brotherly countries of the Global South," Mutua said.

"The Ministry has also worked tirelessly to champion issues of Peace, Security, as well as sustainable Development at the continental level, in the spirit of positive Pan-Africanism."
Mutua cited the "visa-free regime" for Kenyans travelling to South Africa, DRC, Senegal, Eritrea and Congo Brazzaville which he said had created opportunities for business communities.
"We have worked diligently to promote Kenya’s Economic Diplomacy, Cultural Diplomacy, and Environmental Diplomacy, as exemplified by the hosting of a successful 5th Mid-Year Coordination Meeting of the African Union in July of this year, and the Africa Climate Summit in September 2023," he added.
