Renowned Somali content creator Hodan Gaabo lost her life in a car accident between Madogashe and Bananey in Garissa County.
Hodan, who boasted a following of over 600,000 on TikTok, was widely admired for her humorous videos.

The accident occurred when Hodan was en route to Nairobi via Madogashe-Isiolo Road.
Just four days ago, she had left Nairobi, spending a day in Garissa, capturing content for her popular TikTok account.
Reports suggest that Hodan may have narrowly escaped tragedy four days ago, surviving the recent boat incident in Mororo that claimed several lives.
A video posted by Hodan just six hours before her untimely demise showed her walking alongside three police officers, believed to be part of her escort on the Kismayu Highway in Garissa.
The driver of the vehicle involved in the accident sustained severe injuries, while another female passenger suffered a broken arm.
News of Hodan's passing has sent shockwaves throughout social media, with an outpouring of condolences from thousands of her devastated fans.
Maslah Abukar, a follower of Hodan's content, expressed sadness following the untimely death, saying her death has shocked the Somali community, particularly her fellow content creators.
"It's a big loss, may Allah make her among those who go to Jannah," he mourned.
Ukash Sheikh Mohamed, a close friend and fellow content creator, echoed similar sentiments, describing Hodan's sudden passing as a shocking and heartbreaking event.
"Just a few hours ago she was posting videos, and now she is gone. It's shocking," he said, struggling to come to terms with the loss.
Hodan Gaabo's legacy as a vibrant and beloved content creator will be remembered fondly by her thousands of fans, whose lives she touched with her infectious humour and creativity.
Her body was taken to Garissa General Hospital before it was airlifted to Nairobi. It is currently at Masjid Salam in South C. She will be buried on Thursday at Langata Muslim cemetery.
