The family of 15-year-old Rayaan Hassan Amin is engulfed with increasing anxiety as they seek answers about her disappearance. Rayaan was last seen at 6 am on Sunday when she left home, sparking concerns among her relatives.
"Rayaan was headed for Madrasa at Al Hidaya, which is a 10-minute walk from home," shared Amal Mohamed, a relative. "We have contacted all her friends from the religious school, and they confirmed that she did not attend Madrasa that day." Rayaan's usual routine and deviation from it have left her family puzzled. "She usually follows a routine, and this sudden disappearance is very unlike her," remarked Amal.

When asked about any specific plans or reasons for Rayaan's presence on Kirongothi Street that day, Amal expressed uncertainty. "We are still trying to piece together where she might have gone on that particular morning." Efforts to narrow down Rayaan's possible locations have been challenging. "Rayaan didn't have any distinctive habits or routines that could help us in this situation," explained Amal. The family has reported Rayaan's disappearance to the local authorities.
"We have reported the matter to Pangani Police Station, who are actively working on it," said Amal. The family is urging anyone with information about Rayaan Hassan Amin's whereabouts to come forward and assist in the ongoing investigation. "We are pleading for the community's support in finding Rayaan and bringing her back home," said Amal, as the family remains hopeful for her safe return.
