Raila Odinga's funeral service to begin at 9:00 am on Sunday at Jaramogi Oginga Odinga University

Kindiki emphasised that while Sunday’s burial marks the culmination of official mourning ceremonies, the National State Funeral Committee will provide further information about events and activities to honour Raila in the days following the interment.
The National State Funeral Committee has announced that Raila Odinga's funeral service will be held at Jaramogi Oginga Odinga University from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm.
The event will be followed by committal, final prayers, and military honours at the gravesite in Kang'o Ka Jaramogi, Bondo, Siaya County.

Deputy President Kithure Kindiki, in a statement, said that while Sunday’s burial marks the culmination of official mourning ceremonies, the National State Funeral Committee will provide further information about events and activities to honour Raila in the days following the interment.
"The National State Funeral Committee will announce details of subsequent events and activities to further honour the late former Prime Minister Raila Odinga after tomorrow’s interment rites," he said.
The National State Funeral Committee expressed gratitude to members of the public, security personnel, and emergency services for managing the proceedings at Mamboleo Grounds in Kisumu in the best possible way.
