Kenya showcased its dominance at the ITF/CAT Eastern African Junior Team Championships 2025, held at the Nairobi Club, clinching three gold medals and topping the team rankings with an impressive total of 1,300 points

In the boys' 16 & under category, Jeff Hesbon Okuku delivered a commanding performance, defeating Burundi’s Hordi Francis Bireha 6-1, 6-0. Although teammate Ayush Bhandari fell to Miki Nobel Igiraneza 2-6, 6-4, 1-6, the duo rebounded in the doubles match, overcoming Bireha and Igiraneza 6-2, 6-4, to secure gold for Kenya

Kenya’s 16 & under girls’ team was equally impressive. Seline Ahoya set the tone with a decisive 6-1, 6-0 win over Burundi’s Yusra Irakoze. Nancy Kawira sealed the gold medal with a 6-4, 6-4 victory against Bebita Ishimwe
