Battle for Mozzart Bet Cup 2025 set to kick off with 64 teams

Sixty-four teams are set to compete in the Mozzart Bet Cup 2025, a tournament featuring top-flight giants, lower-tier challengers, and ambitious non-league sides, all vying for glory in one of Kenya’s most exciting football competitions.
The road to Mozzart Bet Cup 2025 is set, with 64 teams ready to battle for glory in one of Kenya’s most thrilling football tournaments. The competition brings together a mix of FKF Premier League heavyweights, fearless lower-tier challengers, and ambitious non-league contenders, ensuring an exciting season ahead.
Denmak FC and Compel FC, last season’s standout performers, are back in the fold. Denmak stunned FKF Premier League giants Gor Mahia in the first round of the previous edition, while Compel FC made history as the first FKF Division One side to reach the quarter-finals, overcoming Kajiado FC and Mara Sugar FC before falling to AFC Leopards. Whether they can replicate or surpass their past success remains to be seen.
A total of 12 FKF Premier League teams and five FKF National Super League sides will lead the charge, facing stiff competition from non-league outfits such as Kakamega Veterans, Jumbo TFC, and Donholm Seniors, who add an extra layer of unpredictability to the tournament.
The official tournament draw is scheduled for Monday, 17 February 2025, setting the stage for the Round of 64, which will take place on 22–23 February. The Round of 32 follows on 8–9 March, with the Round of 16 slated for 12–13 April. The quarter-finals will run from 1–4 May, the semi-finals from 24–25 May, and the grand finale will take place on 14 June 2025.
