Tusker Youth registered their first win in five matches after overcoming Burhan by a solitary goal

Burhan FC faced another setback in their FKF Division Two league campaign as they suffered a 1-0 defeat against Tusker FC Youth at Camp Toyoyo Ground on Saturday.

The lone goal came in the second half courtesy of Dennis Okoth, marking Tusker Youth's return to winning form after a five-game winless streak.

Despite their efforts, Burhan FC struggled to find their footing throughout the match. Tusker Youth dominated possession from the start, creating numerous scoring opportunities. However, Burhan FC's defense and their goalkeeper, managed to keep the scoreline tight.

Tusker Youth's coach, Charles Okere, praised his team's performance, emphasizing their collective effort in both attack and defense. "We played really well with heart and with a lot of dedication. We attacked and defended as a team and that is what we want to see more of. We have 13 games remaining now and we have to give our best," said Okere, highlighting the importance of teamwork and determination in their quest for success.

The match saw several close calls for Tusker Youth, with players like Ronald Osir and David Polepole coming close to scoring. However, it was Okoth's header in the 65th minute, assisted by Josephat Andafu, that secured the victory for Tusker Youth.

Despite their loss, Burhan FC remains determined to turn their fortunes around in the league and avoid relegation. Tusker Youth's win propels them to 26 points in the standings, rejuvenating their campaign for the title.
