The Football Kenya Premier League returned after the long festive season in what would be the set of fixtures to end the first leg.

League leaders Gor Mahia maintained their unbeaten streak after edging Posta Rangers 1-0 on Saturday, January 6, 2024 courtesy of a Kennedy Onyango strike just before halftime in a match played at the Kenyatta Stadium in Machakos.

Also playing away, Muhoroni Youth beat Shabana FC by the same scoreline at the Raila Odinga Homa Bay Stadium.

Bandari were 1-0 winners at the Mbaraki Sports Club as a Umar Kasumba strike put Nzoia Sugar to the sword.

Sofapaka thumped Bidco United 3-0 at the Kenyatta Stadium as Tusker ended the weekend's fixtures with a resounding 5-0 away win over KCB.
