Expressing deep concern about the ongoing conflicts between leaders in Garissa, Isiolo, Marsabit, and Tana River, Gonjobe emphasized the imperative of peaceful resolution and collaborative efforts.
Expressing bewilderment, Gonjobe questioned why members of the pastoralist community continue to harbor animosity and engage in conflicts, particularly after elections. He firmly asserted that resorting to violence and conflict over resources is not a viable solution. Instead, he implored the community to embrace love and mutual support.

Historically, conflicts among pastoralist communities have often arisen due to disputes over limited resources like water and pasture for their livestock. However, Gonjobe underscored that violence only begets more problems and advocated for dialogue and cooperation as the way forward.
