Tunisian presidential election turnout at 27.7%, election commission says

Preliminary results are expected on Monday evening.
Turnout for Tunisia's presidential election stood at 27.7%, the election commission said on Sunday after the close of polls.
The vote pits President Kais Saied against two rivals: his former ally turned critic, Chaab Party leader Zouhair Maghzaoui, and Ayachi Zammel, who had been seen as posing a big threat to Saied until he was jailed last month.
