Siaya Governor James Orengo has accused the government of undermining Kenyans' right to commemorate victims of the June 25, 2024 protests, citing the barricading of Parliament and sections of Nairobi's Central Business District.
Orengo called on Kenyans to continue demonstrating peacefully until 6.30 pm, saying the day was meant to honour those who lost their lives and to demand accountability for the killings.
