Video: How injury at 27 led coach Denis Maina to build Shauri Moyo FC
Shauri Moyo FC head coach Denis Maina turned to coaching after a 2010 injury ended his playing career at 27. Determined to stay in the game, he began mentoring local youth, earned a CAF D licence, and helped build Shauri Moyo United into a strong community team. Maina says grassroots football is fuelled by passion, not money. Despite limited funding and little recognition, he has led his team to win several tournaments.
