Health Cabinet Secretary Aden Duale has joined representatives from 124 World Health Organisation (WHO) member states in adopting the Pandemic Treaty during the World Health Assembly. The agreement, aimed at strengthening global preparedness and response to future pandemics, saw no opposition, though 11 countries chose to abstain from the vote.
