Officials from the National Boda Boda Riders Association, led by Samuel Ng’ang’a Maina and Secretary General Dennis Achieng’, have called for peaceful demonstrations in Nairobi’s CBD on Wednesday, June 25. Speaking at Jeevanjee Gardens, they urged all riders participating to avoid violence and resist being manipulated by politicians. They also advised riders to carry a white handkerchief during the protest to distinguish genuine demonstrators from hired goons.
