Uganda's opposition leader Dr. Kizza Besigye’s legal team walk out of court after a magistrate declined to prioritise his bail application, despite 180 days on remand without trial. Besigye had earlier withdrew instructions on other matters unless Martha Karua was allowed on his defense team. Case adjourned to May 29, 2025.
